We're off to Muscatine for the weekend, as Alex celebrates his first birthday. We picked him up from day care around noon, after giving him a birthday balloon to play with. Unsurprisingly, he was more interested in the stick than the balloon itself. I'll post pictures as soon as I get a chance.
Earlier this week, Alex finally found a way to tell us he would prefer cooler water in his baths. He did this by turning down the water heater! One more thing we'll need to keep him away from....
